The feedback that the public can provide to
industry is highly valued. VuMed created this collection/response
facility to allow registered manufacturers to communicate with the
public and increase their ability to take the pulse of consumers,
and their needs and wishes in a highly unobtrusive
manner.
Manufacturers are provided with a forum in which
questions (controlled by them) are posed in order to collect
information. The manufacturer can choose to post the results of any
poll within the pages of their listings as well as contact
individual respondents for specific responses to those who wish to
be contacted.
Information is automatically collected from
controlled "polls" in which questions are posed in a simple
"question/response" format. The registered manufacturer has access
to set the question and "clickable" answers can be set as
responses.
This feature has the ability to provide
manufacturers with qualitative research information in an
non-evasive way, without the annoying home phone method of data
collection.
Viewers will see the survey as a simple way to
provide input and by simply clicking answers they are filling an
important role for the marketing and product development
departments.
